 “You will be a people consecrated to the Lord.”

Deuteronomy 26:16-19

Lent is a time to return to God. Today’s reading is reminder again that we are called to be consecrated to God and for God. The aim of the commandments is for this to safeguard this belonging to God. The commandments in the Old Testament and Jesus comes to fulfill all the Law and make it complete which is loving God and neighbour.
