“Jesus stepped forwards, took the bread and gave it to them, and the same with the fish.”
John 21:1-14
In this reading, we see how Jesus returns to the disciples and gives them what they need in the place that they are. He calls Peter with open arms to let him know again that he is loved despite his denials. He appears and welcomes all of them with food and love so they know that he is alive. How do we recognise Jesus alive again in our lives? Where and how do we see him coming to meet our needs where we find ourselves in this season?
