Often, we search for external signs to guide us, seeking direction, meaning, and validation. However, in doing so, we may overlook the truth that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). This “truth” remains constant, offering meaning and purpose in life not just for the present but for the future as well.
Jesus is the source of life and love, a love that nourishes our spiritual well-being and fulfils our deepest needs.
It is easy to get lost when we follow the wrong signs, such as some people getting addicted to drugs, selfishness, pride, and control. These paths lead to emptiness and isolation and take us away from Jesus. So, what truly influences us? Are we drawn towards Jesus and his teachings, or are we stuck in patterns that lead away from him?
