The Holy Name of Jesus
“Everyone must try to be as pure as Christ.”
1 John 2:29-3:6
As the New Year begins, it is a blessing to be reminded that we are children of God whom he loves very much. And as his beloved children, he invites us to live as Jesus lived, with love, forgiveness, patience and hope.
When we live as Jesus lived and put all our hope in God, our hearts become pure and full of confidence that with God, all things are possible.
We may set our goals for this new year to be more prayerful to develop our relationship with Jesus, becoming more pure in heart and mind. Are we aware that we are the children of God? What are our goals as we enter this New Year?
