Friday 3rd of May

Feast of Saints Philip and James Apostles

“To have seen me is to have seen the father.”

John 14:6-14

Maybe we sometimes feel that we do not know God. We wait or we ask when he will reveal himself so we can really believe. Yet when we see and experience love and compassion in our lives through others, whose love is it? Where do we imagine it comes from? God is constantly with us, through Jesus, the Holy Spirit’s prompting and moving others as well as our hearts to love. If we discover that, like Philip, we are blind to what is in front of us, we can pray for the clarity to see and know God more and see our Father in our daily lives.
