“Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.”
Luke 23:33–34
We all make mistakes in life. Regardless of whether our sins are committed intentionally or unintentionally, we can find healing, hope and salvation through God’s forgiveness. Only God can grant us peace and allow us the grace of a new beginning. Through prayer with the Word of God, we can be transformed into better people.
God’s love is unconditional; he forgives even our greatest sins out of pure love and sets us free. It is also our faith and belief that strengthens us to do better and avoid repeating those sins. We are blessed to be accompanied by Jesus so we can follow him until the very end. Are we grateful for God’s gift of forgiveness and love? How can we open ourselves up to his grace and allow him to transform us?
