“Be transformed by a renewed mind.”
Romans 12:1-5
How can we not conform to the “world we live in”? The world we live in is ordered around material gain of power, money and prestige. In our prayer today let us ask ourselves the question, “what world do I live in?” If we are honest with ourselves, “ our world “is mostly ordered around what we think and what we want.
St Paul is encouraging the community to have a renewal of our mind and to order our way of life according to what is God’s will and what is pleasing to him. How are we discerning in our choices to live in conformity to the mind of Christ? What real choices do I make today for the eternal life?
