Wednesday 2nd of April
“The dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and all who hear it will live.”
John 5:17-30
It is easy to get caught up in the busyness of our days, the challenges we face or even our own self-absorption and forget that Jesus is always with us, always loving us. We may drift away, ignore his guidance, or stop listening. This week, we are invited to attentively pray and listen, to truly hear his voice and experience the fullness of life he offers.
Jesus is the source of love, peace, strength, and hope, the one who nourishes our spirit and satisfies our deepest longings, leading to a joy that is complete. Without him, we can quickly lose our way, becoming trapped in pride, anger, prejudice, and self- focus. Through prayer and attentiveness to his voice, we are given a fresh start, a chance to rise with him, filled with his hope, confidence, peace, and love, and to receive his abundant blessings. Are we making time to listen to Jesus in prayer? Do we listen to Jesus or other voices?
