“The crowds praised the God of Israel.”

Matthew 15:29-37

During this busy time of year, it is easy to feel overwhelmed by schedules, plans, and worries. Today, Jesus reminds us to let go of these burdens and focus on loving and serving others. By volunteering our time, praying, and doing good deeds, we can glorify God’s name.

When we shift our focus outward, we become more connected to our community and less self- centred. This connection can lead to miraculous changes in our attitudes, feelings, and situations. As we experience God’s love, we can, in turn, love and support others. By sharing God’s love, we can inspire others to praise Him. Are we a positive influence? Can we use our words and actions to help others glorify Jesus’ name?
