“Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.”

Luke 5: 12-15 

Today, we are invited to exercise our prayer like Jesus’ encounter with the leper. The leper was in desperate need of Jesus and was not afraid to come to him and share all his wounds, problems and desires with him. How do we come to Jesus? Are we open to Jesus and willing to share all we are with him, our frustrations, joys, worries, and struggles? Do we wait until we are perfect before him?

Jesus invites us to come as we are and to have that honest encounter, so he can come to us and heal us and make us clean so that we can live anew in his love. By allowing Jesus in our hearts in our prayers, he can lead us to true joy and hope in our situations.
