“If you want to, you can cure me.”

Matthew 8:1-4

How is our faith today? There are so many pills, potions, programs, activities and remedies on offer for our woes and ailments-even to help with issues we didn’t know we had! Perhaps we are drawn to these to help us heal in the places we feel broken or hurt. How aware are we that Jesus can heal us if he is willing? Perhaps we can imagine what it would be like for us to kneel down before him in a crowd with the kind of openness, vulnerability and trust that this leper did. As we notice the thoughts, feelings and ideas this image brings to our mind and heart, we can share this with Jesus.
