Isaiah 7:10-14
During this busy season of festive preparations, it is easy to lose sight of the true meaning of Christmas: celebrating the gift of Jesus. While we may be overwhelmed by gift-giving and parties, let us not forget the greatest gift of all: Jesus.
When we pray and can connect with God and trust him, he helps us to let go of our control, plans, and expectations of others. He guides us to a change of attitude and perspectives. What is the status of our spiritual lives? Are we making time to connect with Jesus and pray? Let us take this opportunity to reflect and re-commit ourselves to a deeper relationship with God.
