Monday 13th of April
“They were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to proclaim the word of God boldly.”
Acts 4:23-31
We seek God’s power and courage through prayer to boldly share the message of the gospel with others. We preach with a deep reliance on the Holy Spirit to empower and guide individuals in their mission to spread the good news. We, as Christians, are called to be ambassadors of Christ, sharing His love and truth with the world around us. Praying for boldness shows a recognition of our own limitations and a humble dependence on God’s strength to fulfil this calling.
Have you ever felt hesitant or afraid to share your faith with others? Praying today’s passage reminds us that we are not alone in our mission. We can overcome our fears and insecurities and confidently proclaim the message of salvation to those around us by seeking the power of the Holy Spirit through prayer. It challenges us to step out in faith, trusting that God will equip us with the boldness and wisdom to communicate the gospel effectively. We need to pray earnestly for boldness and be open to the Holy Spirit’s leading as we share the love of Christ with a world in need of hope and salvation.
