 ‘Our love is to be something real and active’

1 John 3, 11-21

God cares about what is on our hearts and our actions show where our hearts are. We can talk about love, but how do we live it concretely? Sometimes we may feel guilty- as if we have not done enough, loved enough. However, wefeel, God sees and knows everything. As long as we continue to look to Jesus for how to love, and act following this to the best of our capacity, God sees our commitment to living out his truth and his word. How would it be for us to simply do our best, to concretely show love to others with our words, our presence, our actions and prayers and allow him to be the judge of what is ‘enough’, so we can be with him in confidence.
