“So that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith.”
Ephesians 4: 11-15
In our journey with Christ, he sends his helpers to assist us along the way. God has prepared everything for us – from the beginning, through this life, and into eternity. Therefore, we do not need to fear. Instead, we must keep our eyes fixed on our goal: eternal life.
We are called to live faithfully by cooperating with the Holy Spirit, praying consistently, and listening to God’s Word, which brings us into unity of faith. But we need to be disciplined in working towards this goal. The more we put our love into action, the more we will be strengthened and prepared to enter eternity. When was the last time we gave serious thought to our eternal life? What steps can we take right now to prepare for it?
