“I am the resurrection and the life”
John 11:25–26
What a blessing it is to know with certainty that Jesus lives within us and is guiding us with the Holy Spirit through his love. He is always there to resurrect hope in our lives, constantly offering us new opportunities through his mercy and forgiveness. Our calling is simply to believe in him and stay connected.
When we draw close to Jesus, we experience his love, hope, security, and protection. He is the provider of life and love. Through this connection, we are given the gift of eternity, a life that we can experience here and now. This assurance means we can continue living with him forever, both in this life and in the life to come. We have no need to be afraid, knowing Jesus is with us from this moment into eternity. How do we embrace this promise of eternity with Jesus? What can we do to remain close to him and open ourselves to his work within us?
