Saints Philip and James, Apostles

“To have seen me is to have seen the father.”

John 14:6-14

Throughout the gospel, we see the strong unity that Jesus had with the Father. When we are connected to Jesus, we share in this same unity.  However, very often, we may be unaware of Jesus’ presence within us, leading us to rely only on our strengths, thoughts, and feelings.

It is a privilege to know that Jesus and the Father are living within us. The more we follow Jesus, “the way, the truth, and the life”, and his path, the more our faith, trust and confidence in him grows.

Today in our prayer, we might look back over our lives and see how Jesus has blessed, saved, and healed us, thus giving us peace, hope and love. Have we stopped to give thanks to him?   Do you experience Jesus’ presence in our days?  Do we believe in his words?
