“Lord make us turn to you, let us see your face and we shall be saved.”
Psalm 79(80):2-3,15-16,18-19
In the lead-up to Christmas, many things and people are calling for our attention. We may even feel scattered and overwhelmed. We may want to be saved from our distress. Our Saviour is coming, he wants us to be close to him, he can save us from any of our concerns, worries, or difficulties if we allow him.
He may not remove them but will be with us in them, bringing his light and love into the situation to help us be with whatever is happening. Are we open to reaching out to God, to let his face shine on us, to allow him to bring us back to Him in this time of preparation for the arrival of his son Jesus?
