“but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses….”
Acts 1:8
The disciples were moved to mission by the promptings of the Holy Spirit, which gave them the courage to go out to the ends of the earth and proclaim the good news of the Lord. The power of the Holy Spirit also moves us out of our comfort zones to attend to others, reaching out to our brothers and sisters to love and serve in creative ways.
How is our relationship with the Holy Spirit? Do we follow the promptings of the Holy Spirit in our lives with those we encounter? There may be someone that we may be thinking of and want to reach out to. Let us be moved by the Holy Spirit to continue Jesus’ mission, giving us the courage and strength to love and to serve our brothers and sisters.
