Easter Monday
“He must rise from the dead”
John 20:1-9
Today’s passage emphasises the importance of faith and staying true to our beliefs even when faced with seemingly impossible challenges or situations. Just like Mary Magdalene was unsure of what she would find when she went to Jesus’ tomb, sometimes we too have moments in life where we feel lost or uncertain about our future. If we keep our faith in God and remain devoted to Him no matter how trying times may be, eventually our uncertainty will be replaced by joy as God shows us His mercy and brings forth blessings into our lives once again.
The empty tombs a powerful symbol of Jesus’ victory over death and sin, As we pray on this passage, we can rejoice in the knowledge that Jesus has conquered death and paved the way for our own resurrection and eternal life. In our prayers, we should express our gratitude for Jesus’ sacrifice and ask for the grace to live in the hope of our own resurrection. Are you inspired to be witnesses to the resurrection in your own lives, sharing your faith and the hope of eternal life with others?
