The Most Holy Trinity

“God love the loved the world so that that he gave his lonely son….”
John 3:16-18

Today we are invited to contemplate the Holy Trinity as Jesus introduces them to us in the gospel. Jesus says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” Pope Frances suggests, “These words are to indicate that the action of the three divine Persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit – is a single plan of love that saves humanity and the world.” He also says, “The Trinity is, therefore, Love, all in the service of the world, which He wishes to save and recreate.”

For this reason, we never have to feel alone, the Trinity are with us and are working for our good.

May we open our hearts to welcome their love and presence into our hearts so that we can, in turn, be present and transmits their love to our family, friends, community and world.
