“To have seen me is to have seen the father.’

John 14:7-14

In today’s reading, Jesus reveals that he is in the Father and the Father is in him. This is evident through the words he speaks, which come from the Father, and through his works, which fulfil the Father’s will. It also reveals the deep relationship between the Son and the Father. In the same way, if we are truly sons and daughters of the Father, we are called to imitate this relationship, one grounded in complete trust and obedience.

Let us ask ourselves today, are there areas where I doubt the Father’s word or will? Are there parts of my life where I feel he will not provide sufficiently? Do I lose faith when prayers seem unanswered, or try to force things to go my own way instead of surrendering? In such moments, we are called to trust in the Father’s word and continue surrendering to his will, as difficult as it may be. Only then can we fully live as children of the Father, with peace and love in our hearts.
