Weekly Reading 2

Wednesday 3rd of December 

“He will destroy death forever, and the Lord God will wipe away the tears from all faces.”

Isaiah 25:6-10

This season is one of hopeful anticipation for the coming of Christ. We look forward to his arrival, knowing that in receiving Jesus, we are filled with hope, peace, and joy. Our challenge is to be prepared and ready for his coming.

Through prayer, we can maintain focus and ensure that we are ready to welcome Jesus into our hearts. By doing this, our hearts and minds will not be overly occupied by the distractions – the busy plans, work, shopping, and general chaos of the world. Are we truly looking forward to welcoming Jesus? Are we waiting patiently for his coming?
