Feast of the Most Holy Trinity
“The love of God has been poured into our hearts.”
Romans 5:1-5
Today, as we celebrate the beautiful feast of the Most Holy Trinity, we are reminded that the Holy Trinity dwells within us. God desires to make His home within us. As we begin our prayer today, let us take a moment to ponder this profound truth of faith: God dwells within me. We might ask the Trinity, How do we feel living in me. Do you feel welcome?
The Holy Trinity did not want us to love alone; that is why the Father sent Jesus into the world, and when he ascended to the Father, he left us the Holy Spirit to be with us always. St. Paul reminds us that God’s love has been poured into our hearts, and therefore, it is with their love and presence that we can face all the different challenges that come to us. We only have to turn to them and open up our hearts to them. We pray today, “HolyTrinity, make your home in us.”
