“Even the wind and the sea obey him’
Mark 4:35-41
In life, there are many things we cannot control. Unfortunately, we often find ourselves in situations where we become afraid when we lose that control. In the midst of stress and chaos, we forget about God and even think he has abandoned us, just like those on the boat with Jesus. We begin to lose our hope and peace, asking, “Lord, do you not care that I amperishing?”
Today, we are reminded that the only one who is fully in control is God. Even the wind and the sea obey him; surely, he can deliver us from all things. We only need to place our full trust in him and believe that everything that happens is part of his plan. Therefore, how can we better prepare our hearts so that the next time a storm comes, we can confidently turn to him and place our trust in him?
