“And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus…”
Ephesians 2:1-10
Have we ever been in a situation where we felt the other party was not deserving of what we had given? Or noticed someone’s need but then held back instead of giving fully? Today we are reminded that we have been given the ultimate gift of eternal life, through the sacrificial lamb, Jesus Christ, and it is given to us free. Not because of anything we have
done, but simply out of love.
Therefore, we are called to share the blessings we have received with others, without judging whether they are deserving or not. This act of freely giving to others is the truest expression of our gratitude and love, which goes beyond mere lip service in thanking God. When we give freely, we also get to experience the same joy the Father has when he gives to us, his children. Today, let us pray to the Father to thank him for his generosity and to help us be generous like him.
