“They will condemn the Son of Man to death.”

Matthew 20:17-28

This Lent is a time for us to reflect, repent, and reconcile with Jesus. Though some of us may be facing difficult times, worries or suffering, we must remember that Jesus never leaves us alone. Challenges may arise, but with him, we can face them with strength, courage, and hope.

We may experience suffering as a way to “die” to our old selves, leaving behind bad habits and sin, so that we may be reborn spiritually. While we are alive, do we truly appreciate the life and love Jesus grants us and live to the fullest by following him? Instead of avoiding our struggles, let us embrace our journey of faith, allowing his grace to guide and transform us. Do we find ourselves criticising others when things do not turn out the way we want? What part of our lives do we want to ask Jesus to transform today?
