“’Go to the lost sheep of the House of Israel.”
Matthew 10:1-7
When we pray regularly and maintain our connection with Jesus, the Holy Spirit assures us that we are his chosen ones. Through him, we are given the authority to go out and fulfil his mission. Jesus desires us to reach those who need to hear his Word, come to know him, and draw near to him. We can bring hope, peace, love, and trust in God to others.
The Holy Spirit will guide us to discern those in need. Therefore, it is essential that we pray so we can effectively share what we have, allowing Jesus to bless us with his Word. This way, people can experience the nearness of the Kingdom of God as they receive spiritual nourishment. Do we believe that we have authority from Jesus to help other people? What is the Kingdom of God to us?
