“No-one has come back to praise God, only this foreigner.”

Luke 17:11-19

When things go smoothly, we may take God for granted and forget that he is the source of our blessings. However, Jesus accepts us as we are and shows compassion to all without exception. This being said, we need to not take advantage of his goodness and love.

Every time we return to Jesus with gratitude, he blesses us with his love, peace, trust, hope and faith. We are called to be like this foreigner who humbly comes back to thank Jesus for healing him. The quality of our discipleship is shown in our ability to humbly give thanks to Jesus for everything that he has done and continues to do for us.

Are we appreciative of the healing touch of Jesus in our lives? Do we recognise Jesus in our workplace, Uni, and people whom we come into contact with?
