 “You have hidden these things from the wise and revealed them to little children.”

Matthew 11:25-30

When Jesus was tired, concerned or needed to make a big decision, he always went to talk to his father. The father’s love, company, and presence gave him strength and clarity.

Jesus invites us to do the same in our life. He says,

“Come to me all you who we tired and weary, and I will give you rest…” Where do we go to find rest when we are overburdened? When we come to Jesus, we find peace, rest, refreshment, and renewal in his love word and presence.

Today let us ask Jesus what yoke he wants us to shoulder so that we are not overburdened by the things and concerns in this life.
