From the Ashes is the debut album from Catholic youth band Under Construction
Under Construction was formed by Verbum Dei Catholic Missionaries in 2008 for World Youth Day and has played an active role in the local community since then by performing at parish mass and music festivals.
"From the Ashes is our Thank You To God for all he has done in our lives through His Grace. The album recounts the lives of real people experiencing joy and challenges through Christ."
Featuring 12 incredibly moving and original songs, the music is inspired by the music of the world. This is evident in songs such as TU VIVIRAS, an upbeat contemporary Spanish song, and the rap WANNA BE FREE, performed by a Verbum Dei Missionary. The album also features intimate and stirring ballads such as WHERE CAN I RUN, LIVING EVERYDAY and LOVE IS through which we hope you can find the love of Jesus.
